Linux Engineer Required by Top Performing Global Hedge Fund
An Elite Hedge Fund is expanding to Warsaw, and building a new infrastructure engineering team. They’re seeking candidates with at least 5 years of experience in the design, implementation and support of Red Hat and CentOS Linux operating systems with a focus on automation with Ansible and scripting with Python/Bash. You’ll do automation of processes to reduce the manual work required by support teams using Enterprise/Open-source tools. You will be the escalation point for support team on priority issues. To confirm the client is a world class industry leading Hedge Fund who have chosen Warsaw to be their brand new development centre focused on major greenfield projects in front office trading.

What's required
- Automation and configuration management using Ansible
- Excellent knowledge of the Linux command line
- Strong knowledge of AWS or GCP public cloud services and provisioning tools.
- Experience with translating requirements into automation workflows using industry standard frameworks and scripting languages
What's desired
- Proficiency using REST services to automate tasks
- Experience with OLTP databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Understanding of Active Directory and Kerberos
- Experience with NFS and Samba for security and performance
- Understanding of Git version control and GitFlow
For this role they willing to pay 15k PLN/Month - 32K+ PLN/Month.
