Senior Specialist Technician

We are currently offering a job in the position of

SENIOR SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN

The main duties include:

• Being responsible for proper configuration, updates, maintenance, monitoring and continuous readiness of network devices (routers, switches);
• Administration and configuration of Cisco Collaboration Services CUCM/CME/CMS (Cisco Unified Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Cisco Meeting Server) and Polycom solutions;
• Participating in projects related to reconfiguration and modernization of LAN infrastructure (including cooper lines, FO lines and coax lines) and making proposals for replacement/purchase of voice, communications and video teleconference equipment in order to ensure appropriate quality and reliability of services;
• Supporting users with providing assistance in the area of responsibility (VoIP telephones and videoconferences);
• Acting as a secondary technician maintaining, repairing and supervising HQ cable TV system;
• Analysing and supporting the process of carrying out the procurement/purchase of hardware and software in the area of responsibility.

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications or related discipline or minimum 3 years working experience in aforementioned area;
• Good communicative command of English (written and spoken);
• Being motivated IT network specialist in system integration or having comparable training in a similar field with initial professional experience;
• Having experience in managing network devices and identify basic security threats;
• Being familiar with network components, such as switches, routers, and wireless local area network (LAN) controllers;
• Being familiar with Cisco Collaboration Services and Polycom;
• Having a very basic knowledge of PABX telephony system.
