Senior Broadcom DX IM and DX NetOps Engineer

Job Description:

Environment details: Monitoring setup with Broadcom's DX IM and DX NetOps for infrastructure (server, OS, DB, middleware, application) and network (WAN/LAN) monitoring respectively.

Requirement:

• Extensive hands-on experience of administration of Broadcom's DX IM and DX NetOps tools with below key areas ownership and day-day management:
• Infrastructure monitoring: DX IM monitoring including servers, virtual machines, infrastructure applications and databases. The sample parameters mentioned below are configured for monitoring and requries solid configratinal experience in such
• Windows operating system monitoring (CPU, memory, hard drive) 
• Linux operating system monitoring (CPU, memory, hard drive)
• Availability of Windows services
• Linux Process Monitoring 
• Log monitoring on specific servers 
• Application Availability Monitoring 
• Databases
• DX NetOps, is used as network management solution. It assists in monitoring, managing, and optimizing the network infrastructure. 

Requries solid engineering experince and SME in managing sample below areas

1. Network Monitoring: Real-time visibility into:

• Monitor network faults and performance (routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers) 

• Includes device availability

• Bandwidth Usage

• Packet loss and latency. 

2. Traffic Analysis: 

• Deep Package Inspection

• Analyze traffic to gain insights into network traffic patterns and application usage.

3. Configuration Management: 

• Manages network device configurations to ensure consistency and compliance 

• Automatic reset and configuration reset

• As an expert in these two monitoring tools, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and efficiency of the related monitoring and observability systems. Support operational activities including (but not limited to)

• Create and customize standard monitoring parameters/Thresholds based on requirement

• Enabling Discovery Process, Probe Deployment

• Configuring Monitoring parameters, Adjust thresholds.

• Agent Onboarding and Decommissioning process

• Creating Global Collections as per the requirements
