Great opportunity for a Solution Architect!
For one of our clients - an international transportation company, we are looking for a Solution Architect who will join the Finance Ship to Collect Development department.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Defining technology and architecture
- Maintaining the architectural runway for a solution or application, providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions
- Mentor emerging technologies and provide guidance to other architects
- Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions
- Advocating for process improvements and helping develop solutions
- Regularly communicating new features and benefits to partners, customers, and other stakeholders
- Providing technical leadership to a team throughout the project lifecycle
- Developing proof-of-concept projects to validate your proposed solutions
- Reviewing and validating solutions designs from other team members
Qualifications & Competencies:
- More than 10 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment with a direct responsibility for strategy formulation and solution/technical architecture, as well as designing, architecting, developing, implementing, and monitoring efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
- TOGAF certification or SAFe Solution Architect certification
- Java / JEE / Spring Framework knowledge
- Microservices Architecture knowledge
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions for testing, building, and deploying applications.
- Cloud Expertise (Azure) with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), and ORM tools like Hibernate.
- Strong experience with RESTful services and SOAP services. Expertise in designing and implementing APIs and handling integrations.
- Messaging Systems such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
- Security Best Practices
- Ability to communicate and present at all levels within an international organisation, both written and verbal in native and English language
- Ability to independently set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals and track progress
- Analytical thinker with a creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
