Your new role

You will act as a Senior Software Engineer in growing Polish branch, working on projects for clients.

Stack & methodologies: Java, Spring Boot, SQL & NoSQL, REST APIs, Kafka, Microservices, Git, GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, JPA, Angular, Cloud Foundry, JUnit, TDD, Agile

Scope of duties:

• You create together with your team architecture and implementation concepts as well as interface designs.

• You participate in design reviews with peers and collaborators to ensure correct solution is picked.

• You will develop Java-based backend applications in various products (domain-oriented microservices, private and public REST-APIs, ML enhanced web-applications) and Angular-based frontends.

• You develop data models and database access for relational and document-oriented databases.

• You review code with peers to provide and get feedback on implemented solution.

• You are responsible for testing, rollout and go-live of applications and triage issues and provide debugging and tracking support to resolve them.

What you'll need to succeed

• 7+ years of experience with Java and experience with microservices. Experience with the front-end (Angular) is nice to have.

• Experience as a developer or architect of Java-based enterprise applications with microservice architecture (security, scalability, resilience, async communication, etc.) in various projects. Ideally, you have in-depth experience with test driven development, continuous integration (Maven, Jenkins, JPA) as well as in source code management (Git).

• Understanding of maintainability, security and code quality.
