Our client wants to improve the level of service and functionalities offered by its main applications to Rates and Credit desks. Princing Rates systems are oriented towards generating valuations of the Rates portfolio, both for the Risk area and Front Office.
Working in a small development team that works closely with the business sponsors, the focus will be on delivering high quality solutions for pricing and regulatory workflows. Maintaining current systems will be also necessary.
About the role
As a Senior developer you will be responsible for the ensuring the team deliver high quality software, using industry best practices for code management, testing and CI/CD. Also, will be responsible to maintain the systems already created.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining the new services.
- Create and modify responsive back-end as per specifications made by the business teams
- Take full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code.
- Configuration and implementation of continuous integration circuits
- Support for production deployments and production issues
- Migrate and evolve systems according to group guidelines
- Migration and evolution of current systems to different locations. Network issues: filewalls, Latency…
- Review tasks critically and ensure they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery. Anticipate and communicate blockers and delays before they require escalation.
- Work closely with partner technology teams and to collaborate effectively.

- Advanced Python
- MongoDB
- Windows/Linux Scripting
- Control-M (Jobs as Code)
- Recent experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (CI/CD) like GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode, etc.
- High English level
