Senior Backend Developer, Node.js

For our Client, we are looking for experienced Backend Developer.

Senior Backend Developer – Node.js / TypeScript

📍 Location: Warsaw (hybrid: 80% remote, 20% office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the system architect on platform development and long-term technical strategy

• Participate in architecture design and code quality initiatives

• Plan and coordinate technical tasks with stakeholders and team members

• Promote engineering best practices: clean code, testing, CI/CD, observability

• Provide mentoring and support to other developers

Requirements:

• Strong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, REST APIs, Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Proactive, well-organized, and able to work independently

• Knowledge of AWS

Nice to Have:

• Experience in leading teams or owning technical delivery

• Interest in learning Go (Golang)

• Experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka)

• Exposure to IoT or Smart Home platforms

• Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, and React
