We are currently looking for candidates for the position:

EndPoint Security Engineer

Mode of operation: Remote. Possible to work on hybrid mode, office in Poznań, Poland

Type of contract: contract (B2B by Hays Poland)

Rate: up to 190 net/h + vat

Installation and configuration of new Endpoint security tools and removal/uninstall of old software

Who are we looking for?

The EndPoint Security Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, monitoring and managing secure solutions. The engineer delivers these solutions in accordance with the organization’s architectural designs, best practices, and regulatory or compliance requirements. The EndPoint Security Engineer is expected to contribute to the corporate security strategy with security leadership and other senior security staff. The EndPoint Security Engineer is expected to implement, monitor and manage secure solutions that address modern day issues.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day implementation, monitoring and operational support of hardware, software, customer applications, managed solutions and service provider relationships.
• Implement technical and business requirements for data protection solutions, participate in project reviews, documentation processes.
• Facilitate complex technology changes on multiple platforms with global customers.
• Respond to and handle service and escalation tickets within SLA expectations.
• Actively participate in security team meetings that facilitate secure technical and business design.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities based on data.
• Knowledge transfer and communication of designs and/or implementation plans.
• Develop security test plans from architectural design. Identify deficiencies and make enhancements to ensure production is not impacted.
• Support and provide analysis of service initiatives and technology changes, as directed

Must have requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on endpoint security
• Experience with endpoint security platforms such as antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection system
• Proficiency in managing and supporting endpoint security solutions, including but not limited to Firewalls, VPNs, SEIM, NAC, IPS, Advanced Malware Systems, Endpoint Security Agents, Sandboxing Technologies, DLP, Operating Systems, and Encryption Technologies (not all of them required)
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Fluency in English
