Backend Engineer

Work mode: 100% remote; occasional visits to the office in Poznań 

Type of contract: contract (B2B through Hays Poland) 

Industry: Pharmaceutical 

Working hours: Standard European hours 

Contract length: 7 months

English language: Advanced

Responsibilities:

1. Implementation of data integration and ETL processes.
2. Building, testing, and maintaining APIs for integrating various systems using Python.
3. Creating and optimizing SQL queries, managing databases.
4. Conducting system and integration tests to ensure quality.
5. Creating and updating technical documentation related to system construction and maintenance.
6. Creating technical specifications.
7. Interface integration with Azure.

Requirements:

• Experience working with Azure: over 3 years
• Experience in data integration and ETL
• Very good knowledge of Python
• Experience in creating APIs
• Advanced SQL skills and database management
• Knowledge of system and integration testing
• Experience in documenting technical construction
• Data analysis skills using Excel
