Your new company
A technology hub (~80 employees) of one of the leaders of British financial market.
Your new role
The DevOps Team works to automate manual processes and enable company’s software development teams to work autonomously without increasing the risk profile. You will also be key to driving continuous improvement in company’s workflows. Shift-left, automation, and the development of self-service are the key to the success of this role.
The role will also see the implementation of new technologies within the company to help achieve these aims. In addition, a separate Cloud Team is planned to be built soon.
Projects: Development and integrations of trading systems and internally used tools.
What you'll need to succeed

What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience as a DevOps engineer (or willingness to learn and acquire new skills)
- Knowledge of AWS
- Experience in Linux environment (Centos or RedHat)
- Expert in DevOps methodologies and the tools which support them e.g. Kubernetes and/or Docker, Ansible, Terraform/ Cloud Formation
- Technical design of infrastructure systems
- Strong communicator (written and verbal)
- Ability to effectively manage your own workload
- Ability to analyse and problem solve
- Good command of English written and spoken
Nice to have:
- Ability to take technical lead on projects with multiple engineers assigned
- Experience in programming and scripting skills (bash, python)
- Experience in logging and monitoring solutions , e.g. ELK, Prometheus
