Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for a Software Engineers for clients in the finance sector.

The position is hybrid or 100% on-site, office located in Warsaw.

Key Responsibilities:

• Script Development: Write and maintain scripts using Python/Perl/Shell/Korn Shell to support various projects.
• Debugging and Testing: Identify and fix bugs, and thoroughly test scripts to ensure reliability and performance.
• Unix/Linux Environment: Operate comfortably within Unix/Linux systems, leveraging your scripting skills to enhance system functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other developers and teams to align scripting efforts with project goals and requirements.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proficiency in Scripting Languages: Strong programming skills in Python, Perl and Shell or Korn Shell.
• Debugging and Testing Experience: Proven ability to write, test, and debug scripts effectively.
• Familiarity with Storage Systems: Experience with distributed storage systems such as DB2, Sybase/Sybase IQ, and MongoDB.
• CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, especially using Git.
• Unix/Linux Expertise: Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• English proficiency at least B2
