Java Architect

Location: Warsaw, hybrid 3days/office

Contract Type: B2B, 12 months

Salary: up to 1600PLNnet+vat/DAY - negotiable

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer / Application Architect to help elevate our engineering standards and shape the future of our application landscape. In this role, you’ll combine strong hands-on development skills with a forward-looking architectural mindset to drive technical excellence, support key design decisions, and mentor the team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and development of application components using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-ready architectures

• Drive architectural improvements and contribute to long-term solution design

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and internal stakeholders to refine requirements and align technical solutions

• Mentor team members on engineering best practices and clean architectural principles

• (Optional) Support requirements engineering by clarifying business needs and shaping technical specifications

What You Bring

• Deep experience with Java, Spring Boot, and building scalable, cloud-ready systems

• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, distributed systems, and API design (experience with Azure is a plus)

• Hands-on skills in CI/CD (e.g., GitLab), containerization (Docker), and modern software quality practices

• Proactive, structured, and quality-driven approach with the ability to lead discussions and guide technical direction

• Strong English communication skills; German is a plus but not required
