Data Engineer Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Analyze and map source data to target systems.
• Design and develop near real-time data processes for large datasets, ensuring maintainability and performance.
• Create reconciliation processes to ensure high-quality, accurate data streaming.
• Maintain and support data streaming processes, ensuring timely delivery to third parties.
• Focus on data quality assurance and collaborate with QA and data warehouse teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data processes.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders about data load statuses and issues.
• Participate in team and project update meetings, brainstorming sessions, and continuous skill development.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in data-focused roles (Data Streaming/Data Warehouse).
• Strong business analysis and data analysis skills.
• Proficient in SQL and scripting/programming languages (e.g., Java, Scala, Python).
• Experience troubleshooting data process issues.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
• Fluent in English, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in iGaming and regulatory reporting.
• Background in supporting data warehouse/streaming systems.
• Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics).
