Cybersecurity Design Reviewer / Architect

We are looking for contractors:

Cybersecurity Design Reviewer/Architect

Warsaw (3 days per week in office)

B2B contract via Harvey Nash

Duration: 12 months (extension probable)

End-client: international bank

Tasks:

• Conduct cybersecurity design reviews (mainly web apps, AI/ML)

• Serve as a cybersecurity advisor to teams (mainly Dev teams) - regarding security of web applications and AWS infrastructure

• Propose new security patterns

• Conduct Read-out Calls with the business to articulate risk

• Analyse reports and findings from penetration tests and code reviews

• Mentor and support junior team members

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience in one or more technical roles (experience in application security)

• Prior experience in performing Threat Modeling or Secure Design Reviews or Secure Architecture Reviews

• Practical knowledge of most common cybersecurity vulnerabilities

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols

• Knowledge of secure coding practices.

• Familiarity with Security standards (e.g. OWASP Testing Guide, NIST, SANS Top 20)

• Knowledge of common security controls and how they apply

• Experienced in application vulnerability assessment

• Background in software engineering or penetration testing

• Familiarity with modern and common web stack technologies

• Knowledge of core cryptography

• Fluent in English
