What You Will Do:
You will work in the Android Center of Competence. Our specialization is Android Automotive. We have several ongoing projects which require work on multiple layers of the Android platform (HAL, System, Framework, HMI). Our customers are world's largest automotive manufacturers. Using our expertise in Android, we participate in RFQs and help to win new projects for the company. We also work several on innovative initiatives research and implementation. In our team, we encourage engineers to continuously learn new features in Android and share knowledge across the company. After 1 year of working in our team, you should become an expert at least in one of the Android domains.
What You Need:
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Good programming skills in Java (Kotlin is additional advantage)
- Experience in C++, JNI
- Understanding of Android system architecture
- Practical knowledge of OOP concepts
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Experience in Android SDK
- Team player
- Good communication skills
- Communicative English (to be used on daily basis)
- Knowledge of at least one version control system, preferably Git
Additional Skills & Experience:
- Experience in building/modifying AOSP
- Linux architecture and development
- Experience in automated testing
