Do projektu naszego klienta poszukujemy osoby na stanowisko Senior Software Engineera (Scala & Python)

Join an international engineering team focused on evolving and scaling an established SaaS platform. In this role, you will bridge two ecosystems: maintaining the core infrastructure built in Scala while developing new, advanced features primarily in Python. A key focus of the project is the deployment of cutting-edge AI capabilities, including integrations with external AI/LLM providers, transcription services, and internal machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities

• Hybrid Backend Development: Developing, maintaining, and extending robust backend services using both Scala (existing codebase) and Python (new features).

• AI & LLM Integrations: Designing and implementing production-ready features driven by Generative AI, integrating external and internal AI platform APIs, LLM providers, and transcription tools.

• System Architecture: Participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, performance, and security.

• API & Integration Design: Designing reliable, maintainable REST APIs and seamless integrations between core platform services and external third-party systems.

• Quality & Automation: Writing clean, well-documented, and thoroughly testable code while supporting modern CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.

• Production Support: Troubleshooting production issues, optimizing performance/costs of AI workloads, and continuously improving platform stability.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering.

• Languages: Fluent Polish (advanced) AND English at a minimum B2/C1 level (working in an international engineering environment).

• Technical Ecosystem: Proven production-grade experience with both Scala and Python, along with the ability to navigate and maintain dual-language codebases efficiently.

• Engineering Practices: Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, automated testing, code reviews, and version control.

Nice to Have:

• GenAI / LLM Experience: Commercial experience integrating LLMs, generative AI APIs, or building workflows around speech-to-text/transcription tools.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern CI/CD pipelines.

• Search & Data: Practical knowledge of ElasticSearch for scalable data querying.

• Legacy Context: Basic understanding or experience with PHP applications is a plus.

• SaaS Background: Previous experience building or scaling multi-tenant SaaS products.

What We Offer

• Rate: 100-125 PLN/h

• Contract Type: B2B Contract.

• Duration: 6 months with a strong possibility of long-term extension.
