Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analytics QA to join our team and help ensure data quality in a modern analytics environment. The project involves developing a platform that connects advertisers with digital billboard owners worldwide. The system is based on a modern technology stack, including Java, Python, React, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Airflow, AWS, DBT, and Snowflake.

Responsibilities:

• Testing databases and ELT processes
• Automating tests in Python using libraries such as pandas
• Validating and testing reports and data visualization tools
• Conducting data flow testing in data warehouses and Data Lakes
• Working with tools such as Snowflake, dbt, AWS (S3, Athena, QuickSight)
• Creating BDD tests using Cucumber
• Analyzing and ensuring data integrity in SQL

Requirements:

Must Have:

• Experience in testing data warehouses / Data Lakes / Data Marts
• Knowledge of Data Engineering processes and the differences between ETL and ELT
• Strong proficiency in SQL (aggregations, joins, unions, CTE, window functions)

Should Have:

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (ideally ThoughtSpot)
• Proficiency in Python and tools such as Jupyter and pandas
• Experience with BDD approach and working with Cucumber

Could Have:

• Experience in report test automation is a plus
• Experience in API testing
• Familiarity with AWS environment (S3, Athena, QuickSight)
• Knowledge of Jinja templates, YAML, and dbt (at least for reading code)
