In Guesty we use the latest technologies and frameworks and we handle complex business operations along with promoting open-mindedness, creativity and self-reliance.

We are looking for a Back End Developer to join our vibrant and exciting Guest Experience team in Poland.

The Guest management group is responsible for the biggest asset of Guesty’s customers - the guest. The team is building Guesty’s entire guest-related offering including communications, lead management, risk reduction and mitigation products, and the overall guest experience. We are building best-in-class products combining exceptional user experience with smart business logic.

Responsibilities:

Design of the overall architecture of the web application
Implement cool new features, services, and APIs
Write reusable code and libraries
Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
Solve bugs (no one can hide from it)
Write tests and monitor

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience in development roles, preferably from startups (or other agile environments).
Proficiency in either Node.JS/ Java / Python /JavaScript - experience with TypeScript - Must!
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
Hands-on experience with distributed log systems (like Kafka)
Experience with Microservices Architecture and Docker.
Passionate about technology, enjoys solving complex problems and learning new technologies.
A team player with strong communication skills.
