As a Senior Software Engineer you will work closely with other Engineers, Tech Leads, Architects, Directors and Product Owners to help assess, improve, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, you will deliver and maintain applications and software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.

These responsibilities include the following:


  • Build mission critical systems and platforms in a variety of tools and technologies
  • Write infrastructure as code and configuration as code, utilizing DevSecOps practices
  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement
  • Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
  • Scale/Evolve systems sustainably through automation
  • Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems

Why you? 

Basic Qualifications: 
We are looking for engineers with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • 2+ years hands on experience working on and building production strength systems
  • 2+ years of programming in a modern static or dynamic typed language (Java, Javascript)
  • Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical experience involving coding
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills - with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
  • Good English skills – level B2/C1 (communicating with teams from various areas)

Preferred qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience with APIs, API Gateways, Infrastructure as Code, shell scripting, unix, cloud, Azure
  • Experience in a regulated environment, ideally pharmaceutical
  • Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
