An exciting opportunity has arisen to set up and run a new process for exchange of information between GSK and new-CH post Separation. As new-CH Information Exchange Specialist you will be a key part of requesting and responding to Information Exchange requirements and work with stakeholders in GSK, across Consumer Healthcare (CH) functions, partnering with Digital & Tech and Data Governance leads.
The security and safety of our data is of upmost importance and the role holder will be responsible for following the Data Governance and Long-term Access Agreement (LTAA) scope. The LTAA has been created to simplify separation and reduce cost on separating data and systems that are intermingled or shared.  Therefore, you will be playing an important part in Separation and the creation of a new standalone Consumer Healthcare company.
This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career.  

These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Help start-up an Information Exchange to meet the needs of the Long-term Access Agreement according to the defined governance and operating model, including recruitment of people, set up of systems, technology, processes, and governance.
  • Partner and communicate across CH to set out the process for requesting data from GSK and the process for fulfilling data requests from GSK; building a stakeholder group of experts known as ‘Functional Data Leads’
  • Communicate with an enterprise wide set of stakeholders and SME’s.
  • Participate in decisions and actions, escalate issues and resolve risks in partnership with the counterpart IE lead role holder in GSK aligned to the LTAA governance process.

Basic Qualifications: 
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, IT, mathematical or other quantitative computational discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Data Governance policies and processes.
  • Strategic thinking will be a key skill in setting up the IE in a scalable and sustainable way.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Working in highly complex and matrixed leadership positions would be of an advantage.
