We are looking for a SAP S/4 Hana FICO Specialist to work with the Finance Systems team in the area of end to end Record to Report and to help analyze, design and execute the business and finance needs into standardized, global and the technical requirements on RtR processes.


On this role, you will work closely with the business and finance teams to support the implementation of global finance scope in record to report. The goal is to create an integrated, compliant and automated processes across all of the OLX entities based on SAP S/4 Hana system.


As a SAP S/4 Hana FICO (f/m) for Finance Systems in Global Finance in Transformation, you'll be offered a unique opportunity to become a part of an international team and contributing to the global OLX Group success, based in Berlin - one of the most vibrant European capitals, while working with and impacting Finance Systems for the Group utilising cloud technologies.


What you will be doing:

  • Assist and execute in business process and data analysis
  • Conduct gap analysis of the existing process and finance related systems
  • Research processes across countries and report findings back to Finance Systems team (due diligence status quo of existing RtR process)
  • Collect business requirements, analyse and consolidate themes 
  • Guiding the business on the appropriate use of the standard SAP S/4 HANA Finance functionality
  • Proactively carry out project support/administrative functions and tasks
  • The root cause analysis and recommend a process improvement, redesign and automation
  • Solution design and documentation
  • Management of external parties (i.e. outside of FiT)
  • Report and data analysis to determine effective use of the ERP and related tools
  • Compile a consolidated view of requirements to the Finance Systems team 
  • Provide daily finance operational support to the local finance teams
  • Compile training materials for users, train and educate users on the new process
  • Initiate constant process streamlining
  • Act as the translator between technical and Finance teams to ensure business requirements are communicated properly and addressed
  • Executing test plans and retests as necessary
  • Understand, evaluate, and improve controls framework in the RtR process
  • Support and maintain the SAP environment 
  • Responsible for unit testing, integration and regression testing, including build test cases, perform tests, and make changes to configuration or processes based on results.
  • Work closely with Service Desk to ensure adequate user support documentation.

Who we’re looking for:

  • University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, IT
  • Min. 3-4 years of experience in finance process support and/or projects
  • Good knowledge of RtR components (General Accounting, Month-end-close, Reconciliations,  Intercompany, Consolidations, and Audit)
  • Experience working in an operational Finance team preferred
  • Good experience in working in project teams and project management skills 
  • Ability to manage own tasks and work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent in effective time management and organizational skills
  • Hands-on mentality, customer-oriented approach, a change agent approach
  • Great analytical skills and orientation to details
  • Proficient in Excel and analysis methods
  • Ability to design financial reports to facilitate analysis and gap analysis process
  • Keen in translating business and finance requirements into functional design 
  • Proficient in PowerPoint presentation methods and synthesizing data
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage a broad network of stakeholders to align and ability to challenge status-quo and influence key stakeholders 
  • Fluent in English.
  • At least one international SAP implementation project
  • Skill to evaluate and interpret end-users information needs and develop appropriate applications solutions and functional specifications.
  • Experience in New General Ledger, AP, Cost and profit center accounting, Fixed Assets, Internal Orders, Consolidations, Banks, AR, Taxes, IFRS, FI-MM, FI-SD Integrations, Revenue Recognition, Special purpose ledgers, Account-based COPA, Business Partners)
