Frontend Lead

Grip (www.grip.tools) is web-based software that automatically produces visual content for physical goods. Grip supports brands to cope with the fast-accelerating challenge of the exponential grow and need for content. It’s based on photorealistic 3D, capitalising on INDG’s twenty-year-long experience in that field. 3D is good because once your beer or your juicer or your rocket is on Grip, it can be used and re-used for multiple media: images, videos, iOS apps, and such. 

One can imagine that Grip is rather complex: it needs to render things quickly and photo realistically which presupposes some heavy engineering. It is a sophisticated system and so it needs sophisticated engineering. 

Right now, Grip is looking for a Front-End Lead, remote, in Bucharest or in Amsterdam. Expats welcome! 

Front End Lead @ Grip 

As a front end lead you accept the challenge of bringing the best practices and harmonizing development across three teams of front end and node developers. You have the technical background and experience to make technical decisions, teach those to the team and link them back to our Back End team. 

Our Front End team works with the following stack: TypeScript, React, Redux, Redux-Saga, Styled-Components, Canvas, WebGL, Webpack, Angular. For CI/CD we use MS Azure. 

Joining Grip as our Front-End lead means you’ll no longer work on boring stuff like standard forms, labels, or bottoms, but on our exciting product where we combine technology with 3D.

This is a remote friendly role. Most of us work from Amsterdam or Bucharest, and if you’re close to any of the two, we’re more than happy to welcome you in our offices. If you move from abroad, we will support you with everything you need for your move: e.g. 30% ruling, housing-search, relocation loan, flights, tax-return support in the first year.
