Senior Quality Engineer (SDET)

We are looking for an experienced Senior SDET with strong Java skills to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining advanced automated testing frameworks, implementing end-to-end, API, and UI test automation, and shaping the overall testing strategy across the application.

Essential functions

• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks

• Implement E2E, UI, and API test automation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality early in the SDLC

• Define and improve the test strategy and processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve test automation issues

• Promote quality engineering practices and mentor junior team members

Qualifications

• Strong Java programming experience

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Spring

• Knowledge of testing frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, AssertJ, REST-assured

• Familiar with Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI

• Fluent English communication skills

• Experience in microservices architecture and testing

• Availability to work on a full-time employment contract (Umowa o pracę)

Would be a plus

• Experience with UI testing tools: Selenide, Playwright

• Knowledge of BDD tools: Cucumber, JBehave

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Understanding of monitoring/logging tools like Grafana, Kibana

• Familiarity with test design patterns and shift-left testing approaches
