We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the migration of a high-performance system to Google Cloud, optimizing infrastructure, reducing maintenance costs, and improving SLAs. You will work closely with engineering teams to rebuild the solution around a modern tech stack, ensuring a smooth data center migration (DC by DC) and seamless integration of managed GCP services. This is a key role in transforming the supply chain infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Migrate infrastructure and applications to Google Cloud, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.
- Automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Optimize cloud performance, security, and observability using GCP-managed services.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native application deployment.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud migrations.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of networking, security, and performance optimization in cloud-based systems.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with GridGain/Ignite or other In-Memory Data Grids (IMDG).
- Familiarity with Java-based applications and cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of supply chain or enterprise-scale infrastructure.
