Senior Data Analyst

Join our team as a Data Analyst to drive insights and shape data-driven decision-making across our products. We’re looking for an experienced analytics expert who’s passionate about using data to enhance user understanding, improve taxonomy, and enable product teams.

Responsibilities

• Data-Driven Marketplace: Partner closely with product teams, providing analytical support and insights to enable data-focused product development and decisions.
• Customer Understanding: Leverage data to understand user behaviour, identify patterns in search habits and enhance our user taxonomy to create business value.
• Consultative Analytics: Answer pivotal questions with detailed analyses, offering insightful recommendations to guide product teams.
• Data Enablement: Empower product teams by enhancing their data accessibility and analytical capabilities for independent insights.

Requirements

• Self-Motivated Data Enthusiast: You bring a background in economics, data science, mathematics/statistics, or a related field, with several years of experience in analytics, customer insights, or data science.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets, Python scripting (e.g., data frames, pandas, yarrow), and familiarity with data analysis tools like Jupyter notebooks, regex, and visualization.
• Statistical Knowledge: Hands-on expertise in A/B testing and hypothesis validation.
• Data Visualization: Experience with MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Superset, or Tableau, including building cubes, modelling data, and automating reports.
• Pipeline Knowledge: Familiarity with building and maintaining data pipelines is a plus.
• Excellent Communication: Serve as the primary analytics advisor to our product teams, with clear communication skills.
• Language: Fluency in English.
