Senior Big Data Engineer (with Druid)

Our customer is one of the world’s largest technology companies based in Silicon Valley with operations all over the world. In this project, we are working on the bleeding edge of Big Data technology to develop a high-performance data analytics platform, which handles petabytes datasets.

We are looking for an experienced Big Data Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Big Data Solutions
• Data Ingestion and Processing
• Optimize Data Pipelines
• Real-Time Data Processing
• Data Quality and Governance

Min requirements:

• Strong hands-on expertise o Apache Druid, Spark and Airflow
• Experience with NoSQL databases, experience with SQL is plus
• Strong expertise in OLAP, including batch and streaming processing
• Proven experience with data-intensive applications and hands-on data processing

Would be a plus:

• Production experience with Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop
