SAP Hybris Developer

We are looking for an experienced SAP Hybris Developer to join a long-term B2B e-commerce project for a well-known client in the automotive parts industry. You’ll be part of a team supporting Hybris OCCv2-based architecture, working on new implementations, system enhancements, and ongoing support. The project includes multiple integrations, a custom frontend built in Spartacus, and migration efforts toward microservices. This is a Tech Lead-level role, where you’ll not only code, but also provide guidance and vision to other developers.

Essential functions

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce applications using SAP Hybris Commerce

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements

• Lead and mentor junior developers, sharing best practices and technical direction

• Own development of key Hybris modules: Cart, ASM, Order Processing, Email, Customer Feeds

• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support

• Integrate Hybris with external systems via REST, SOAP, and hot folders

• Participate in the migration process from monolithic Hybris to microservices

• Ensure proper documentation of new features and system behavior in Confluence

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with SAP Hybris Commerce (OCCv2)

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework

• Knowledge of Groovy (e.g., for scripting and migration support)

• Experience with SOLR, SQL databases, REST APIs, and SOAP

• Exposure to Azure and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a development team

• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environment

Would be a plus

• Experience in technical leadership or stream ownership roles

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform

• Knowledge of Spartacus, HTML/CSS/JS, or frontend architecture

• Experience documenting systems and functionality in Confluence

• Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud-native deployments

• Previous work with e-commerce, retail, or automotive domains
