Quality Assurance Engineer (Performance)

As a QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to enhance test coverage, ensure software quality, and drive improvements in testing processes. You will be involved in all stages of development and release cycles, working with diverse technologies and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development and QA teams in an agile framework.
• Build strong relationships with external teams to develop robust end-to-end test coverage.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Conduct performance testing using tools like HP LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling.
• Identify process deficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Document software defects and track resolutions using Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
• Define test parameters, analyze test results, and interpret test trends.
• Assist in managing test platforms and automation frameworks.
• Participate in test plan reviews and stakeholder meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in Web and API application testing.
• Proficiency in performance testing tools (HP LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with test case management tools like Zephyr, Jira, and HP ALM.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, functional, regression, and non-functional testing.
• Experience in debugging test cases and analyzing test results.
• Knowledge of SaaS applications and CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
• Familiarity with UI and API automation testing is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with onshore and offshore teams in a fast-paced environment.
