Java Developer (with Networking Expertise)

Are you an experienced Java Developer with a passion for networking technologies? We’re seeking a skilled professional to join our team and work on cutting-edge Java networking tools and open-source projects.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and support an open-source networking library built on top of Netty.
• Develop and scale ServiceTalk adapters bridging Apache HTTP APIs to ServiceTalk.
• Refactor legacy systems for improved performance and maintainability.
• Design and implement new services and APIs, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java development, with experience in open-source HTTP frameworks and API design.
• Deep understanding of network stacks and internet protocols, including TCP, TLS, HTTPS, and HTTP/2.
• Proficiency in Reactive Java and asynchronous development.
• Experience in building performance-critical applications with a focus on optimization.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities.
