Responsibilities
- Develop new features based on the product roadmap
- Ensure proper quality of solution for Mission Critical Systems
- Integrate new open source tools within the whole platform (automation, ci/cd, telemetry, etc.)
- Focus on end-user perspective when it comes to feature value
- Learn fast and experiment with new technologies to ensure rapid product development
- Work independently and discover technical requirements
- Support customers in using the product and collaborate with the client' teams (possible 24/7 shifts with extra bonus)
- Work in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban)
Requirements
- Experience with a cloud-native technology stack (e.g. Kubernetes, Containerization, etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience in Platform Engineering or 5 in Software Development
- Understanding of Linux environment and networking (hands-on experience)
- Understanding of virtualized infrastructure (VMs, software-defined networks, software-defined storage) and containers
- Understanding of distributed systems and web architectures design principles (twelve-factor applications)
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language
- Good command of English

Nice to have
- A good overview of cloud-native landscape and ability to select proper tools
- Experience with Kubernetes in a production environment
- Know-how of one of the cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, vSphere, OpenStack)
- Experience with automation of Ops activities (Terraform, Ansible, Concourse, Jenkins, Docker)
- Experience with monitoring and logging
