Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop automated tests for application features
- Able to create test plan/strategies for automated tests
- Review of software requirements
- Occasionally executing manual tests
- Designing and implementing solutions that help the team deliver features faster, safer, and to a high level of quality
- Supporting your manager. Providing daily/ weekly status on project progression, providing suggestions to improve efficiency on daily basis and so on
- Participate in improving and developing quality practices in product development organization
- Take care of quality in projects in our company. Educate developers how to test their own features to match the production quality standards
- Help to revamp the processes. Spreading successful ideas and solutions to other teams within the company
- Eager to learn new scripting languages, frameworks, and technologies
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Quality Consultant/ Quality Assurance/ Tester or similar roles (1+ year experience)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Advanced understanding of testing principles and methodologies, software development lifecycles & processes
- In-depth knowledge of defect management tools (such as JIRA, TestRail or xRay)
- Technical experience with: Jenkins, GitHub, Cucumber, JMeter
- Experience with the Behavior-driven development approach
- Experience of hands-on test automation using tools like Selenium and Appium + Java
- Fluent English - must be able to communicate and read & write the documentation
- A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication
NICE TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/technology/engineering
- ISTQB Foundation certificate
- Context switching and staying organized
