Job description

For one of our Automotive customers, we are helping to create a Connected Car system enabling information exchange between the user and the car. Our responsibility is to lead the project right from the back-end to the front-end through mobile. The current solution is based on legacy technology and needs re-engineering from scratch in a highly efficient and modern way.

Salary

We offer an attractive salary while working in Poland and much more competitive while working on-site:

Projects in Poland:
9 000 - 16 000 PLNgross/month

Projects in Ireland:
12 100 - 21 600gross/month

Of course, we cover the entire cost of business travels and accommodation.

Responsibilities

Designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform
Working closely with other Android developers and developers from other teams (e.g. Backend or Frontend teams)
Participating in system architecture design and development
Cooperating with analysts and product owners refining the design assumptions
Analyzing business needs and creating technical documentation
Maintaining the highest quality standards

Requirements

THE PROJECT REQUIRES TO WORK IN THE CLIENT’S OFFICE IN IRELAND FOR 3-6 MONTHS
Experience with designing and building complex Android applications using Kotlin
Good knowledge of Android SDK
Good knowledge about Google Play Store release process and UI/UX standards (Material Design)
Experience with RESTful APIs to connect the app with back-end services
Experience with modern development tools (Android Studio, Git, Fastlane, Jenkins, Confluence /or other wikis, JIRA/or other trackers, code review tools)
Knowledge of TDD and unit testing
Very good command of English (both written and spoken)
Good communication skills, openness

Nice to have

Experience with XP methodology
Experience working with commonly known 3-rd party frameworks and libraries from Android Ecosytem (dependency Injection tools [Dagger, ButterKnife], Retrofit, Firebase APIs)
