Together with our client, car rental company, we are working on a project to address inefficiencies and high costs in fleet maintenance in the USA. The project focuses on enhancing a fleet management application to streamline processes, integrate with internal systems, and enable data-driven decision-making. This system aims to reduce costs, eliminate duplicate efforts, and improve overall fleet management efficiency.
Along with developing the new features, you will be responsible for planning and introducing quality changes, implementing good practices, and software development standards. The client’s team is located in the USA and we cooperate with them remotely.
Responsibilities
- Implement frontend and backend for a fleet management system dedicated for the USA
- Design and build application on AWS infrastructure
- Facilitate the integration of the developed system with internal applications
- Introduce and maintain the highest quality standards
- Write unit and integration tests
- Participate in application architecture design and development
- Participate in meetings with client/product owner
- Analyze business needs and transform them into product requirements
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience in the frameworks like React, NodeJS, NextJS, AngularJS
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect the app with backend services
- Experience with modern development tools (Git, CI/CD, Jenkins)
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken (B2+/C1)
- Good communication skills, openness
- Self-reliance, determination, assertiveness
Nice to have
- Experience with K8S, Docker, S3, DynamoDB
- Experience with Python
- Sense of UX
- Experience with building applications on top of AWS (DynamoDB, S3)
- Knowledge of unit testing and mocking libraries
