Test Analyst - STP Tribe

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Test Analyst to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for the quality assurance of advanced, automated transaction processing solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate both functional and non-functional system requirements using a combination of manual and automated testing methods. This is an integral role, contributing to fast-paced Agile projects and continuous product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Take part in feature refinement discussions to assess and support the testability of requirements.

Develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans for upcoming features.

Create and execute test cases across functional, integration, regression, and non-functional domains.

Carry out performance and reliability testing using structured frameworks and best practices.

Leverage tools such as ReadyAPI, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins to support test automation and execution of test suites.

Oversee defect tracking and resolution processes to ensure quality standards, using Azure DevOps for reporting and documentation.

Work closely with team members across development, product, and delivery functions to support project readiness.

Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing testing standards and contribute to a community of practice within the testing domain.

Core Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in manual and automated software testing, ideally in a transactional or process-driven environment.

Proficiency in designing and executing test cases for a range of testing types (functional, integration, regression, non-functional).

Hands-on experience working within Agile delivery frameworks, contributing to sprint planning and backlog review.

Solid expertise utilizing ReadyAPI, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins for test execution and automation.

Strong defect management and triage skills within the Azure DevOps ecosystem.

Domain knowledge related to automated transaction processing and message protocols (e.g., MQ, SWIFT, ISO 15022/20022, middleware validation).

Additional Skills:

Experience with integrating test scenarios into CI/CD pipelines as part of DevOps initiatives.

Understanding of performance, scalability, and reliability testing concepts.

Relevant software testing certification (ISTQB Foundation Level or similar) is an advantage.

Excellent analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

Effective communicator, comfortable working in cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
