Oracle Database Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting database environments. The role involves hands‑on work with installation, configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliability of Oracle databases.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and upgrade Oracle environments, including patches and new releases.

• Perform backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery testing.

• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and plan capacity.

• Support database design changes and collaborate with development teams.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Manage user access and database security.

• Participate in maintenance or project work outside standard business hours when required.

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience.

• Extensive experience administering complex Oracle environments (minimum 5 years)

• Knowledge of clustered setups, ASM, and standby databases.

• Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows systems.

• Proven troubleshooting skills across database and infrastructure issues.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and document technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

• Very good command of English.

• Experience with other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB) is a plus.
