IT Infrastructure Specialist

We’re looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Specialist ready to join an internal IT team of our Client. This is the role for an international production-based company having financial shared service centre in Poznań.

Employment terms:

• Contract of employment

• Hybrid model – 8 days/month in the office

• Business trip once/month for 2 days – driver’s license required.

In this role you will:

• Ensure the stability of IT infrastructure across all locations in the scope (Poznań, Warsaw, Tychy),

• Administer local IT infrastructure (servers, network devices, applications) and ensure data security through effective data storage management, backup procedures, and wiping of retired devices,

• Register and manage IT issues, user accounts, IT assets, and authorizations to maintain an organized IT environment,

• Install and configure IT devices and applications ensuring consistency and reliability,

• Provide primarily 3rd line support services and consultations, with 2nd line support as needed for specific issues,

• Provide IT procurement services and manage licenses,

• Implement IT guidelines and processes as well as maintain IT security requirements with proper end user training.

Requirements:

• Ideally 5+ years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Specialist or IT administrator,

• MA degree in IT field desired,

• Good knowledge about TCP/IP networking (WAN, LAN, VLAN, WLAN, VPN),

• Experience with email clients and servers (MS Servers),

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Clients, Windows Server technology and Active Directory,

• Basic understanding of Business Processes in ERP systems (preferred SAP experience),

• Willingness to travel – 1 travel/month to our locations: Warsaw/Tychy.

Desired:

• Good knowledge about Microsoft SCCM configuration,

• Good knowledge about server virtualization and backup solutions (VMware, Veeam),

• Knowledge about DELL computers, Cisco network devices, HP servers, printers,

• Good knowledge of SAP processes, especially within SD, MM, CS, FI and CO modules.
