Senior SAP Hybris Engineer (Java)

We are growing rapidly and therefore expanding our IT team. This team will empower the Dutch IT team. The Krakow team will consist of Backend, Frontend, and Test engineers.

As a Backend developer, you will be responsible for the code of SAP Customer Cloud, which is written in Java. We have already a team that builds our MVP, you and your team will go from MVP to the moon. We are looking for a self-starter with a few years of experience on the job, and some experience as a lead.

Ideally, the Dutch team and the Krakow team meet a few times a year, varying between our locations.

Your responsibilities

• taking care of further development within architectural decisions and check that these are followed by all
• making use of and contributing to the Git branching model, code reviews, coding standards, unit tests, and documentation
• checking and improving agreements on architecture both in documentation as in code reviews
• implementing performance based principles in your code
• writing component and unit tests
• cooperating with the full team internally and externally
• joining and contributing to demo’s, refinements, and other Scrum rituals

Our requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• experienced in SAP (Hybris, CC) and JAVA
• keen eye on requests and work towards improvement
• good communicator, who cooperates well within a team and knows English on a professional level
