Technical Solutions Consultant, SAP Cloud Migrations, Google Cloud Consulting

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, architecture, or consulting.
• 3 years of experience with cloud platforms, Google Cloud and SAP architecture, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and other SAP solutions.
• Experience in customer-facing SAP cloud migrations, upgrades, and refreshes.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Google Cloud migration tools and services (e.g., Migrate for Compute Engine, Cloud SQL).
• Experience in Google Cloud certifications or SAP certifications.
• Experience with SAP licensing, disaster recovery and high availability configurations for SAP.
• Experience with database administration (e.g., SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).

As a Technical Solutions Consultant (TSC) specializing in SAP migrations to Google Cloud, you will be a critical bridge between our customers and Google Cloud's infrastructure and services. You will leverage your deep SAP and cloud expertise to guide customers through complex migrations, ensuring successful and efficient transitions to Google Cloud. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, consulting skills, and a passion for helping customers transform their businesses.

You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, designing and implementing tailored migration solutions, and providing expert guidance throughout the entire migration life-cycle. Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments of customer's SAP landscapes, infrastructure, and business requirements and advise on creation of comprehensive migration strategies and roadmaps.
• Provide expert technical guidance, implementation best practices and recommendations on best practices for SAP on Google Cloud.
• Work with business, internal specialists, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes. 
• Participate in pre-sales activities as proof-of-concepts, project scoping activities, and Statement of Work (SOW) creation.
• Work with Customer, Google, SAP and Partner teams to drive the implementation of SAP migrations and advise on troubleshooting and technical issue resolution during migration and post-migration phases.
