Software Engineer III, Full Stack, Google Ads

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.

• 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end with Java and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience with Angular or React.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working on Frontend, or web projects.

• Experience in Dart and Java, or Kotlin.

Responsibilities

• Working with Program Managers (PM) and designers to prioritize and build UI workflows using AngularDart and Java/Kotlin services in Google Ads.

• Build frontend functionality for the human-in-the-loop advertiser facing tools.

• Collaborate closely with Ads backend teams to call their Remote Procedure Calls (RPC) from the frontend server.

• Identify methods and run experiments to attribute success to the launches.

• Develop new frontend components by working closely with UX partners.
