Senior Software Engineer, Chrome Identity

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers working on Chrome Identity across desktop and mobile platforms.
• Build features that are used by users and that are visible in Chrome UIs (e.g. the account menu, the first run experience, the Chrome profile picker etc).
• Take full ownership of the design, implementation, and launch phases of your projects.
• Work closely with UX peers to refine the product requirements.
• Make direct coding contributions that are critical to the success projects.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
• Experience with Large Language Models, NLP, or Generative AI.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces (UIs).
