We are expanding our teams in the Space sector to take on Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM) projects.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

You will be integrated in GMV's SST and STM multidisciplinary team located across several countries, with several projects currently on-going. In particular, you will work within the Polish team taking care of SST/STM activities for customers like the European Space Agency and national administrations in Poland such as the POLSA.

You will work for the operations and development of SST systems and the execution of R&D studies. The concrete tasks focus on engineering and software development activities around orbit determination, object characterization, attitude estimation, collision risk estimation, sensor data analysis, manoeuvre optimization, space sustainability, etc. Artificial Intelligence algorithms are more and more often being applied to some of the previous topics. .

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for graduates in aerospace with background and interest in:

•  Orbital mechanics

• Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM) related concepts

• Basic software programming knowledge

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

• Python / Java / Fortran

• Linux

• Machine Learning

• Docker

• Relational databases
