Senior DevOps | CI/CD Workflow Engineer IRC250595

We are looking for a Senior DevOps specialized in CI/CD workflows, to work with the largest manufacturer and distributor of household appliances in Europe and one of the leading in the world. You will be responsible for bringing next-generation home appliances to the market. The job involves close cooperation with the team in Germany and occasional business trips.

Requirements:

Minimum education requirements and experience:

• Experience with (embedded) software build systems
• Experience with (Cloud Based) CI Systems like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Expertise in DevOps Technologies & Principles (CI/CD)
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of commercial experience; Master of Science with 3 years of experience; or PhD with 1 year of experience

Preferred qualifications & skills:

• Experience in pipeline/workflow development (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Proficiency in container virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker or LXC)
• Skilled in platform-independent scripting languages (e.g., Python) for tool development and testing
• Proficiency in platform-dependent Unix scripting languages (e.g., BASH for Linux)
• Advanced git usage for continuous integration and developer tooling support
• Experience with REST APIs and other service integrations

Other recommended qualifications & skills:

• Experience in Cloud Infrastructure Technologies & Tools e.g., Azure Cloud (AKS)
• Container orchestration Systems e.g., Kubernetes
• JSON, YAML & XML for configuration management of the different tools & services
• Experience with the Agile working model (Scrum)
• Software Architecture modeling expertise
• Mentoring experience in DevOps fields

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, focusing on workflow optimization and
• automation
• Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and plugins using Groovy
• Create and maintain automated scripts and tools using Python to enhance CI/CD processes
• Integrate various testing frameworks and code quality tools into the CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks
• Monitor pipeline health and performance, implementing improvements as needed
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate their projects into the CI/CD system
• Document CI/CD workflows, best practices, and troubleshooting guides
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in CI/CD tooling
