Key Responsibilities:

• Serving as a technical lead and key contributor within the Data Engineering domain

• Planning, organizing, and structuring the team’s daily work

• Identifying and resolving technical and process-related impediments

• Supporting the team in making sound technical and architectural decisions

• Communicating proactively with stakeholders and providing regular progress updates

• Contributing to the migration of the data platform to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Required Skills & Experience:

• Serving as a technical lead and key contributor within the Data Engineering domain

• Planning, organizing, and structuring the team’s daily wor

• Proven experience in a Senior or Lead Data Engineer role

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Strong proficiency in PySpark

• Experience delivering data engineering projects in cloud-based environments

• Involvement in data platform migration initiatives (including cross-technology or cross-environment migrations)

• Knowledge of or experience in the following areas:

  o CloudOps / DevOps

  o Automation and CI/CD pipelines

  o Reliability and observability (nice to have)

• Excellent communication skills, essential for this role

• English proficiency at B2+ / C1 level (UK-based client)
