For international Client, we are looking for a candidates for the position of Data Architect/ Cloud Data Architect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the technical aspects of migrating multi-petabyte datasets to Databricks on AWS

• Designing and supervising the implementation of the Delta Lake format, including support for Delta Sharing

• Reviewing and critically assessing the client’s strategy and roadmap, while recommending enhancements

• Designing data processing pipelines and conversion logic from Parquet/Snowflake to Delta Lake

• Supporting and mentoring internal data engineering teams

• Contributing to the design and evolution of the Modern Data Warehouse and Data Lakehouse (Delta Lake) architecture

• Enabling high-quality data delivery to support internal reporting initiatives, including Power BI

• Working closely with the client’s Product Owner

• Operating remotely or onsite in London, depending on availability and preference

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert-level knowledge of Databricks

• Advanced, hands-on experience with Snowflake

• Strong experience implementing, optimizing, and operating Delta Lake at scale

• Experience designing and running data pipelines on AWS, including S3

• Solid understanding of Parquet and Data Lake architectures

• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization

• Proven experience with large-scale data migrations and data architecture design

Nice to have:

• Experience with integrations such as HubSpot, Jira, and accounting systems

• Understanding of data modeling for reporting in Power BI

• Consulting background, with the ability to challenge and validate strategies

• Experience delivering end-to-end projects in large-scale data environments

• Ability to lead architectural discussions (challenge, validate, co-create)

• High level of independence and readiness for an immediate start

• English proficiency at B2+ level or higher
