QA Engineer

GelSight seeks a Software Quality Engineer to help test software quality for a Windows-based application for a camera-based 3D measurement and tactile sensing technology. The primary focus of work will be executing and developing software test plans and processes to ensure software quality. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, eager to learn, and excited to participate in the development of new technology. The position is remote.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and executing on software test plans
• Document detailed bug reports into Microsoft Azure DevOps
• nice to have ability to develop unit tests for simple bugs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
• Proficient in Windows software development tools and toolsets, including Visual Studio
• Proficiency in XAML, .Net
• Experience working with products that combine hardware and software
• Past experience with software quality testing
