Salary starting from 18 400 PLN gross/month, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated System Engineer to join our global team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in operating and maintaining our global Content Delivery Network (CDN). This position involves participation in on-call rotations, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and responding promptly to operational issues.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Operate, maintain, and monitor the global CDN infrastructure. 

• Respond to incidents, diagnose issues promptly, and participate in on-call rotations.  

• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.  

• Collaborate closely with network and infrastructure teams for maintenance and enhancements.  

• Manage and contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) repositories using Git.  

• Continuously improve monitoring and alerting systems.  
  

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.  

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS).  

• Proficient in Git and Bash scripting.  

• Experience in operational on-call duties.  
  

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack).  

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).  

• Knowledge of databases like ClickHouse or PostgreSQL.  

• Understanding of BGP and related networking protocols.  

• Programming ability in Go, Python, or Rust.
