About the job

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Backend Developer/Principal Engineer to lead the development of our Remote Gaming Server. This role is critical to the continued growth of our rising company and offers a unique opportunity to shape our backend architecture and

engineering practices. You will work on complex, scalable systems, lead technical decisions, and mentor other developers. This is a senior, long-term position that offers significant responsibility and influence over our technical direction.

What we expect from You / Qualifications:

• To qualify for this role, a minimum of 2 years of commercial experience in at least two additional technologies beyond Python is essential to demonstrate a broad understanding of the full technology stack. This experience should showcase your ability to manage both backend and frontend systems. Candidates should be able to provide evidence of their full-stack development experience, with the capability to handle complex, scalable solutions and oversee the integration between various systems
• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of Django
• Experience in and system architecturing
• Devops/SRE skills

Bonus points:

• Understanding how slot games works
• GRPC / protobuf
• Degree in CS or similar
• SRE/devops experience
• Project in python that you can demonstrate
• Open-source project that you co-authored
• A gaming project in python
• Experience in other non-python technologies

• C / html / js / QT
• Linux (self developed)

What we offer:

• B2B contract
• Salary range: 21,000 zł -35,000 zł (net of VAT)
• Office Location: Warsaw, Poland
• Remote work up to 100% with occasional office meetings
