Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the team & the role

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer specializing in process automation and IT infrastructure management to join our team. We are looking for someone truly interested in technology, who enjoys developing and optimizing environments and is always looking for new solutions. What tasks do we want to assign you?

• Automating application building, testing and deployment processes.
• Configurating and managing cloud computing infrastructure.
• Monitoring and maintaining high service availability.
• Implementing IT security solutions.
• Implementing the "infrastructure as a code" approach.
• Optimizing the performance and scalability of systems.
• Cooperating with the Development and IT departments.
• Implementing DevOps culture in the company.

What’s important for us?  

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Very good knowledge of AWS public cloud (knowledge of Azure or GCP cloud will be an advantage).
• Experience with:
• IaaC tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation),
• Ansible automation tools/custom shell scripts,
• Linux operating systems (FreeBSD will be an advantage),
• Advanced configuration of Nginx web server,
• Configuration and management of PostgreSQL databases,
• Containerization/orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, OpenStack, etc.)
• cost optimization in AWS public cloud,
• Compliance standards like GDPR, SOC2,
• management of multi region environments.
• Knowledge of:
•  JIRA and Confluence,
• CI/CD tools (experience with Bitbucket is an advantage),
• monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager),
• security tools - prevention and observability (SIEM, HIDS, WAF, etc.),
• Network configurations at many levels (routing, tunnels, etc.),
• Git.
• Working proficiency in English.
