Forte Group is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer.
Our client is a healthcare technology company, committed to simplifying the business of care in the field of Medical Insurance Claims Management. They are leading in healthcare payments processing and creating value for health insurers, healthcare providers, and consumers. As a Senior Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our engineering team, which consists of high-performance engineers who are going to deliver a great product. Engineering resources are distributed worldwide having most capabilities in Eastern Europe and the US.
Our team owns a distributed system, which includes both on-premise and SaaS solutions, is designed to assist medical insurance companies in managing claims. Your role involves leveraging your expertise to solve complex engineering challenges, devising creative solutions, and providing guidance on complex engineering matters. You will maintain and enhance the components responsible for displaying claims to customers. You will have the opportunity to participate in the migration of legacy projects to modern technologies. Your responsibilities will include both front-end and back-end development. Additionally, you will be involved in covering your code with tests and partly configuring Kubernetes (K8s) to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.

Responsibility:
Technical Mastery
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices following best practices, ensuring optimal performance and integration with other system components
- Create, optimize, and manage data structures and pipelines. Work with complex data models and ensure smooth data flow within the system
- Integrate external services and APIs as required to enhance functionality and interoperability
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, driving the adoption of new tools and methodologies
Problem Solving and Innovation
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure engineering solutions are aligned with the business needs
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Follow and promote best practices in coding, design, and development methodologies, maintaining quality and consistency across the team
Independence and Mentorship
- Provide guidance support and mentorship, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
- Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and system scalability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field
- Proven experience (5+ years) designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems, including work with microservices architecture
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability with hands-on experience building large-scale, distributed applications
- Expertise with data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL databases)
- Proficient in C# programming language and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience with .NET is a must
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise and guide others effectively
