Thanks to our unprecedented growth we are now embarking on the next stage of our journey which is to build out a suite of e-money solutions offering the next generation of online digital banking, multi currency services and payments to our commercial clients.   
     
    The Role
    Automation Test Engineer - you will be a key member of a small expanding engineering team on an exciting project developing a new bleeding edge digital online banking platform.  
    You will be responsible for the development of an automation testing suite for the platform and given the autonomy to influence decisions with the CTO on tooling and testing strategies.
     
    We want people with an open mind-set and adaptable attitude to cope with changing requirements the business needs.  A demonstrable ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. 
     
    Main Skills Experience Required:


    • Excellent communication and analytical skills to understand and apply test cases complex solutions
    • Devise and create test plans
    • Test automation
    • Agile experience with scrum or kanban
    • CI experience.
    • Testing techniques for functional and non-functional scenarios.
    • Understanding of RESTful APIs, and exposure to Microservices
    • Automated UI testing and API testing
    • Proficiency in collaborative development tools such as Github and JIRA
    • Fluent in English

    Tools (but not all necessary):

    • Gherkin / Cucumber
    • Selenium
    • Postman
    • RobotUI
    • Wiremock / ResAssured
    • Jmeter

    Advantageous (but not necessary):

    • Understanding and experience using webhooks.
    • Experience with Cloud Technologies - Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Java
    • Experience working within a financial services / Fintech environment.
